Pinwheels For Peace
These pinwheels were created with the idea of peace in mind. In my pinwheel, I tried to use different colors to represent acceptence and diversity. I also used different symbols to represent peace, such as hearts and peace signs, y'know, generic stuff. I put a quote from one of my favorite artisits and guitarists, Jimi Hendrix on there as well. I also added a Koi fish, just simply because I like Koi fish.

Below is my original straw painting
Here is my finished straw painting
In art we created paintings by blowing air through a straw to move paint around. This creates a natural and abstract design which we then used to find objects and shapes in. In mine i saw ghouls and plants. I made a rose out of one blob of paint and also put a design around a cloid shaped blob in the middle. I thought this would make the art feel stressful, because I want to share how much of a pain it is dealing with your mistakes from the past (great example: this website and me having to do everything I didn't do in the past).

My operation Grateful Nation sketch.
This project was created in honor of Veterans' Day/Armistice Day to thank the soldiers of today and the past for their courage or for being drafted (they still fought gallantly). Regardless, all the souls who did fight for the future will forever be respected and praised, as the foundation of our amazing world. I wish I did more with this assignement, but pre-May-2017 me was an idiot and slacked off. The fact that people go out and fight for people like pre-May-2017 John Merkin is astounding to me, because so many of us don't deserve it. It's just another thing we humans take for grantit.

This is my paper sculpture, I tried to create a lantern. It's made outnof cardboard and, well, paper. At first I didn't have any ideas, but then the idea of a lantern occured out of nowhere. I glued six thin layers of cardboard together to create the box and then glued cardboard to secure the borders. Then I made candles with abstract cuts of paper.
Below is my still life drawing and still life collage. This was my first still life with multiple objects, though I do wish i could've
